Dressing Up Our Dreams [2023-24]

A portrait series by artists Amy Scatliff and Saul Portillo. Residents of Berry College and the Spires Community dressed up twice, once for each of two questions:

Costume One: What did the adults in our lives imagine we would become?
Costume Two: Who did we dream of becoming?

Choosing costumes and props sparked conversations about life, expectations, and the gap between the two. Participants then shared their portraits with friends and family, carrying the questions further.
